Pre-Training

Two purpose built pre-training barns, over 100 acres of uphill grass gallops, miles of internal roads and woodland trails make Ballylinch Stud the ideal pre-training centre. These facilities are complimented by the installation of a five-furlong GelTrak all-weather gallop and a dedicated equine spa. We are particularly proud of the quality of our staff that break and ride out our young horses. We take time to do this job well and our clients reap their rewards on the racetracks of the world.

Graduates of Ballylinch Stud, who were broken and pre-trained at the stud, include Group 1 winner Shinko Forest, Champion Irish Two Year Old Fillies Priory Belle and Danaskaya, 2011 Group 2 Prix du Gros Chene winner Wizz Kid and 2010 Woodbine Oaks winner Roan Inish.

Two year olds of 2011 include Group 3, Albany Stakes third Illaunglass and the very promising Lawman filly Lady Wingshot.
